Lina Egutkina is an artist, designer and entrepreneur. Born and raised in former Soviet Union, she has made the San Francisco Bay Area her home for over a decade now.
Lina's formal training as an artist began at 15 when she studied at Art School in Ufa, Russia. It was not long before she won a full year scholarship at Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia and traveled to US to continue her studies. Upon return to Russia, she worked as an Interior Designer building high-end retail stores in Moscow for various fashion brands.
An adventurous spirit lead Lina to London to pursue her passion for Ballroom Latin Dancing where she trained with some of the top coaches in the world and competed throughout the UK, including the most prestigious Blackpool competition. While living in London and exploring the local art scene, she fell in love with abstract painting and started her first experiments in that new for her style, resulting in a few choice opportunities to show her work at London's fine art galleries and shows. In 2000 she moved to San Francisco Bay Area. After working as Graphic Designer, Interior Designer and exploring tech startup scene, she decided to focus on her painting and expanded her artwork presence with exhibits in San Francisco, Palo Alto and Carmel.
